Landon Smith
Students/Associate Pastor
Landon surrendered to the ministry, December 1997. He has been in full time student ministry since August 1999 and has been the Associate Pastor/Student Minister at FBC Crystal Springs since November 2008. Landon and his sweet wife, Jessica, have been blessed with four children: Lainey Claire, Jackson, Lyla, and Lynlee. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, watching his children in all their activities, and spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.
Brian Jolly
Minister of Music
Our music minister is Brian Jolly. Brian is from the Monterey community in Florence where he still resides with his wife, Ellen and three sons, Nate, Welton, and Anderson. Shortly after marrying in June of ‘98, Brian felt the call into ministry and attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Extension where he was licensed. He has served in numerous churches across Rankin County including his home church of Briarhill Baptist where he was ordained. He still works full-time as a Computer Specialist for Rankin County School District in Brandon.

Jennifer Benton
Ministry Assistant
Our Ministry Assistant, Jennifer Benton, was born and raised in Crystal Springs, graduating from Crystal Springs High School in 1997. She married Curtis Benton in 1999 and they have three daughters, Victoria Grace, Kalyn Nicole and Madalyn Rose and they live in Wesson. She joined our staff in October 2015 with 20+ years of office administration experience. She enjoys working with her church family sharing God’s word.
Cyndi Bush
Financial Ministry Asst.
Cyndi joined our staff November 2021 as our Financial Secretary. As of April 2022, she and her husband, Jack, celebrated 43 years of marriage. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, sharing their love for Jesus, as well as spending time with their two sweet dogs, Annie and Jazz, and her curious goat, Maggie Mae.
Dorothy Shull
Kindergarten Director
Dorothy has worked with children for over 40 years. She started her teaching career in August of 1980. After 30 years of teaching in the public school system, she came to teach at our church kindergarten program. She took over as the Kindergarten Director in 2016. She is married with 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
